Drive of the mechanism of gear shifting - the general information and adjustment

General information

In the presence of suspicions on violation of functioning of a drive of the mechanism of switching, it is necessary to make its dismantle and to estimate degree of wear of components (see. Removal and installation of components of a drive of gear shifting). At installation of components into place do not forget to grease all basic surfaces.

If the partition and greasing of a drive do not lead to situation correction, the car should be driven away on car repair shop for the purpose of condition diagnostics actually transmissions.

Let's notice that possibility of adjustment of length of drafts of a drive of gear shifting should be considered only as the preventive measure which has not been intended for compensation of wear of components. Adjustment of length of drafts is made at their replacement (see below).


Nominal rates of lengths of drafts of a drive of gear shifting

1 — Cranked lever/fastening to a forward stretcher
2 — Fastening of the lever of gear shifting

3 — Draughts of a choice of transfers (length of 100 ± 1 mm)
4 — Draught of gear shifting (length of 245 ± 1 mm)

Adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

2. Operating through an impellent compartment, or from under the car, measure length of each of drafts of a drive of gear shifting. Compare results of measurements to nominal rates (see an illustration Nominal rates of lengths of drafts of a drive of gear shifting).

It is necessary to measure distance between centers spherical hinges of drafts.

3. In case of need performance of adjustment weaken a lock-nut and, having hooked the lever, accurately liberate the corresponding draft from the tent hinges on transmission. Adjustment of length of draft is made by rotation of its tip in the relevant party. The control sizes act in film between centers hinges. Having finished adjustment, press draft back in reception nests of the hinges, then strongly tighten a lock-nut.
4. On termination of adjustment make sure of serviceability of functioning of the mechanism of switching: each of transfers should join freely, and nothing should disturb return of the lever to neutral situation.
