Replacement of transmission oil

On some models the reversing and a tightening of jellied / control and drain jams will need a special key of square section (ask in firm shops of automobile accessories).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Plums of transmission oil it is simplest to make after transmission warming up to normal working temperature - make on the car a short trip.

Try not to burn about the warmed-up surfaces of the power unit!

2. Park the car on an equal horizontal platform, whenever possible with a firm covering. Firmly cock the parking brake, block protivootkatny boots back wheels, then поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props. At the corresponding complete set remove protection of a case.

When filling fresh transmission oil the car should be again transferred to horizontal situation.

3. Uncover a podzor of an arch of the left wheel, at the corresponding complete set remove also protection of a case of the engine.
4. Carefully wipe a surface of a case of a transmission round the jellied/control stopper located in the left part of RKPP, near a face cover. Turn out a stopper and remove a sealing washer.

5. Get under a drain stopper of a case of RKPP capacity suitable on volume. The drain stopper is in the region of the main transfer, in a back part of a case of transmission. Turn out a stopper.

6. Wait, while all oil will merge from a transmission. If oil is hotter, take the appropriate measures of precaution not to burn. Carefully wipe both stoppers, having removed all stuck metal sawdust from magnetic inserts. Old sealing washers are subject to replacement without fail.
7. When oil will stop to follow from RKPP case, clean a carving of a drain stopper and an opening under its installation in RKPP case. Establish a new sealing washer, then screw a stopper and tighten it with demanded effort. Lower the car on the earth.
8. Filling in a transmission of fresh transmission oil demands from the performer of certain skills and takes away a lot of time. Let's notice that for the correct correction of level the car should be surely located strictly horizontally.
9. Fill in through a jellied/control opening the amount of fresh transmission oil of a demanded grade stipulated in Specifications. Check oil level (address to Head Routine maintenance). If after the gulf of demanded amount of oil it starts to follow through a control opening, screw into place a stopper and make on the car a short trip during which oil should be distributed on surfaces of the RKPP internal components. Repeat level check. Establish into place a cover of a podzor of an arch of a wheel and protection of a case.
