Removal and installation of a driving cable of the speedometer/sensor of speed

Some of models are equipped with a speedometer of electronic type with the sensor of speed established on a transmission which replaces with itself the hummock drive used in system of mechanical type. |
Hummock drive Removal

1. In an impellent compartment take a pin of fastening of a driving cable on a transmission case. Disconnect from transmission a cable tip.
2. Sharply extend a driving cable for the purpose of liberation of its spherical tip from the directing plug in a partition of an impellent compartment.
3. Involve a cable in an impellent compartment and remove it from the car. Try to remember a route of laying of a cable and location of its intermediate directing clamps. |

Installation
Installation is made upside-down. Before landing grease a sharovy tip of a cable with soap solution. Track correctness of laying of a cable and its landing in the plug through passage in a partition.

1. To steal up to the sensor it is simplest from under the car. For the purpose of simplification of access prop up protivootkatny boots back wheels, then поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props.
2. Disunite the contact socket of electroconducting of the sensor of speed.
3. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove the sensor together with the thermofilter. |

Installation Installation is made upside-down. Make sure of serviceability of a condition of a sealing ring in the sensor basis, in case of need make its replacement. At the corresponding complete set do not forget to establish into place the sensor thermofilter.
