Check of a condition and regenerative repair of a turbokompressor

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having removed a turbokompressor from the engine, make visual survey of its casing, checking it on existence of cracks and other visible mechanical damages.
2. Check freedom and smoothness of rotation of a shaft of a turbokompressor, manually turning one of assembly wheels. Insignificant люфт we will allow, as in work the shaft is hung out on an oil pillow. Check an external condition of turbine shovels of both wheels.
3. On KKK type turbokompressor the actuation mechanism of a waste zaslonka is built in assembly and is not subject to check or replacement in an individual order. On Garrett system compressors the device is established by the separate block and it is necessary to charge performance of check of its condition/replacement to qualified specialists of car-care center.
4. Presence of oil at final or induction channels with a big share of probability testifies to failure of epiploons of a shaft of the turbine. And, if oil is present from the induction party, it inevitably gets as well to the built-in cooler (Intercoоler) which in this case should be washed out solvent.
5. Performance of regenerative repair of a turbokompressor lies outside the limits of qualification of the average amateur mechanic. The failed assembly always can be exchanged on new or restored.
