Engine assembly order after performance of major maintenance

Before the beginning of assembly make sure available all necessary spare parts, tools and materials. Attentively familiarize with the description of procedure and prepare for performance of the forthcoming works. Among the other equipment hermetics for interface of the surfaces not equipped with laying and fixings of carving connections be required also. Originators of this Management recommend to use only firm materials, adaptations and the replaceable components which have been specially intended for application on Citroёn cars.

With a view of economy of time and minimization of risk of different emergence of difficulties originators of this Management recommend to make at assembly of the engine installation of components in the following order:
   a) A cranked shaft (see. Installation of a cranked shaft and check of working gaps of radical bearings);
   b) Shatunno-porshnevye assemblies (see. Installation of shatunno-piston groups on the engine and check of working gaps of shatunny bearings);
   c) The oil pump (see. The repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - petrol engines or the Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - diesel engines);
   d) The case pallet (see. The repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - petrol engines or the Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - diesel engines);
   e) A flywheel / a driving disk (see. The repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - petrol engines or the Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - diesel engines);
   f) A head of cylinders (see. The repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - petrol engines or the Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - diesel engines);
   g) Natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt, cogwheels and actually a belt of a drive of GRM (see. The repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - petrol engines or the Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - diesel engines);
   h) Hinged components and units.

At this stage all subjects to installation the serviceable and restored components of the engine should be absolutely pure and dry. It will be correct to spread out details as installation on a pure working surface.
