Replacement of epiploons

Right epiploon of a cranked shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a cogwheel of a cranked shaft (see. Removal and installation of cogwheels of a belt of a drive of GRM).
2. Measure and write down landing depth of an epiploon.

3. By means of a suitable hook take an epiploon from the casing. Alternatively, drill or puncture in a face surface of an epiploon pair of openings, screw in them саморезы and take an epiploon, having grasped nippers heads of screws.

4. Clear a casing of an epiploon and carefully remove from walls of a nest and a shaft pin all roughnesses and the teases, capable to bring to failure of a new epiploon.
5. Grease sponges of a new epiploon with pure impellent oil, then accurately plant it on former depth in a nest in a casing (the opened end inside). As an opravka use a replaceable head of the corresponding size or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter (the opravka should rest only against the firm external region of a face surface of an epiploon). For protection of an epiploon wind a pin of a cranked shaft with a thin adhesive tape and plant on it casing assembly with an epiploon.
6. Remove an adhesive tape.
7. Establish into place a cogwheel of a cranked shaft (see. Removal and installation of cogwheels of a belt of a drive of GRM).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a flywheel / a driving disk (see. Removal, check of a condition and flywheel installation / driving disk).
2. Execute the procedures described in subsection the Right epiploon of a cranked shaft, subitem 2 — 6 with that difference that this time the epiploon is put by external sponges outside. If sponges at installation of an epiploon are turned out, straighten them by means of a suitable hook. Try not to damage an epiploon.
3. Establish into place a flywheel / a driving disk (see. Sensors of level, pressure and temperature of impellent oil - the general information).

Right epiploon of a camshaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a camshaft cogwheel (see. Removal and installation of cogwheels of a belt of a drive of GRM). In effect, there is no need of complete removal of a gas-distributing belt, however it is worth to remember about high probability of pollution it oil.

2. Having hooked a suitable hook, take an epiploon from the casing. Alternatively, the epiploon can be taken with the help саморезов (see subsection the Right epiploon of a cranked shaft, item 3).

3. Carefully clear a casing of an epiploon and a surface of a pin of a camshaft.
4. Grease sponges of a new epiploon with pure impellent oil and plant it on a shaft pin (the opened end forward). For protection of sponges it is necessary to wind a pin with an adhesive tape previously.
5. By means of a suitable opravka press an epiploon in the casing aflush with a face surface of a head of cylinders. Use bolt М10 which should be screwed in a carving opening in a shaft end face, washers and a piece of a pipe suitable on diameter.
6. Establish into place a camshaft cogwheel (see. Removal and installation of cogwheels of a belt of a drive of GRM).
7. If removed, establish a gas-distributing belt (see. A belt of a drive of GRM - the general information, removal, check of a condition and installation).

 

Left epiploon of a camshaft

Consolidation of the left pin of a camshaft is made means of the sealing ring planted in a flange of a face plate. The epiploon is not provided. Replacement of a sealing ring is made by a plate otbolchivaniye from a head of cylinders.
