1. Disconnect hoses from a coal adsorber and the valve of its purge and, by blowing off, make sure of their passableness. Defective adsorber and the valve of a purge are subject to replacement.

Replacement of a coal adsorber

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The coal adsorber is behind a radiator and is fixed on the left wall of an impellent compartment.
2. Mark two hoses and disconnect them from the top part of an adsorber. If for fastening of hoses collars of braided type are used, at assembly it will be reasonable to replace them more practical screw or worm. If hoses fasten by means of sockets of fast undocking, wring out the central plugs of sockets a small screw-driver with a flat sting and remove step from unions.
3. Give fixing nuts and remove an adsorber from the basic arm. In case of need отболтите also remove an arm.
4. Installation is made upside-down. Track correctness of connection and reliability of fastening of hoses.

Replacement of the valve of a purge of an adsorber

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The valve is fixed on the left wall of an impellent compartment, behind a coal adsorber.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Release a clamp and disconnect electroconducting from the valve of a purge of an adsorber.
3. Disconnect hoses from both parties of the valve and liberate the last from the fixing collar. Take the purge valve from an impellent compartment. 4. Installation is made upside-down. Track correctness of an arrangement of the valve and reliability of fastening of hoses to it.

Catalytic converter and l-probe

Check

Efficiency of functioning of the catalytic converter can be checked only by a way of definition of composition of the fulfilled gases by means of carefully calibrated gas analyzer (address to Head Routine maintenance).

If contents level WITH on a cut of an exhaust pipe exceeds admissible value, the car should be driven away on car repair shop for carrying out complete diagnostics of systems of injection of fuel and ignition. If during such diagnostics any violation it is not possible to reveal, replace the catalytic converter (see. L-probe replacement

The oxygen sensor is among fragile electronic elements. Do not shake a l-probe and do not drop it. Food or use break for cleaning of the sensor of chemical means also can lead to a l-probe exit out of operation.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Walk on electroconducting from the l-probe screwed in a reception pipe of system of production of fulfilled gases, to the top part of the case of transmission. Disunite both electric sockets and liberate electroconducting from intermediate clamps and bindings.
2. Turn out the sensor from a reception pipe. Also remove it together a sealing washer.
3. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to replace a sealing washer. Before installation grease a carving part of the sensor with high-temperature greasing. Track reliability of a tightening of the sensor and correctness of laying of its electroconducting (wires should not adjoin in the systems which was heated by surfaces of production of the fulfilled gases and the engine).
