Keys, remote control by door locks

General information

The key allows to make direct unlocking/locking of doors, including a door of a back and a door of the hatch of a jellied mouth of a fuel tank, an unblocking of a steering column, inclusion of ignition and engine start by a starter.

The key which has been built in in a remote control (DU) of the uniform lock, allows to make everything the operations listed here on unlocking/locking of doors, задействуя only the lock of a forward door. If one of forward doors is open, blocking does not occur.

Precautionary measures

Leaving the car, densely close all windows, do not leave on a look any subjects. Take a key from the ignition lock, block a steering column and door locks.

Remote control with the built-in key

The remote control represents the pulse source of high-frequency radiation having certain advantages over similar devices, operating in a long-wave range. So, there is no need for prompting of a radiator of the panel on the receiver located in the car; the signal radiated by the panel easily gets through barriers (metal, luggage); the device has rather big radius of action.

Be attentive, remember, what even casual operation of the panel which was in a pocket can lead to an unblocking of locks.

Uniform lock

The DU panel allows to make remote unlocking/locking of all doors of the car, including a door a back/cover of a luggage compartment, and also a door of the hatch of a jellied mouth of a fuel tank.

To unblock locks, press the button A on a lateral wall of the panel. The unblocking of locks is made by means of the button of Century. In default systems press the corresponding button of the panel repeatedly.

Reception by the receiver of teams established in the car from the DU panel proves to be true operation of indexes of turns. So, when blocking locks indexes light up for 2 seconds; unlocking of doors proves to be true a fast blinking of indexes.

Replacement of batteries of a remote control

The blinking of the indicator built in in the DU panel at a nazhimaniye on management buttons, testifies to need of performance of replacement of an element of a food.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn out the screw, uncover cases and take from the panel a food element. As a replaceable element it is necessary to apply CR 1620 type batteries with tension 3В.

The pulse signal radiated by the DU panel allows to make unlocking/locking of doors of the car at distance. The key allows to make unlocking/locking of locks of doors, a ware box and a door of the hatch of a jellied mouth of a fuel tank, an unblocking of a steering column, and also inclusion of ignition and engine start by a starter.

The system of the pulse repeater carries out blocking of ECU system of injection of fuel.

The system joins automatically, at key extraction from the ignition lock.

Start of the engine can be carried out only by means of a key from a standard complete set of the car.

After key introduction in the ignition lock, the sensor, the system of blocking of injection makes recognition developed by the sensor of a signal built in in a key.

If the signal is not identified, start of the engine remains impossible.

Blocking of locks by means of a key

The key allows to make unlocking/locking of all doors of the car, задействуя the lock only one of forward doors. If any of forward doors remains open, blocking does not occur.

Code card

In a set the confidential code card is surely attached to a set of keys.

The hidden code allowing experts of firm service center of the Citroёn company to be engaged in service and the maintenance of system of the pulse repeater is put on the card.

At sale of the car do not forget to transfer the code card to the new owner.

Store the card in a reliable place, never leave it in the car.

With loss of the card of a guarantee on service of system of the pulse repeater are lost.

Accurately copy numbers of keys and a remote control in a notebook. At loss of keys experts service center of the Citroёn company can pick up a new set for these numbers.

Entering of any changes into a design of system of locks should be made with direct participation of experts the Citroёn service center.

At all do not make any changes to an electric chain of system of the pulse repeater as it can lead to irreversible blocking of start of the engine.

Unlocking of doors outside

1. To open the lock of one of doors, enter a key up to the end into a keyhole and turn it, or use a remote control.

2. Raise the handle and pull a door on itself.

If forward doors of the car are closed, that, at an utaplivaniye of the button of switching off of the lock of any of them there will be an automatic blocking also all other doors. Buttons of switching off of locks of back doors block only the door.

The device does not allow to make door unlocking from car salon. Insert a key into a red keyhole and turn it. This device operates irrespective of system of the uniform lock.

Back door (Hatchback)

Unlocking of a door of a back can be made by means of the DU panel of system of the uniform lock.

Press the button and lift a door. For closing lower a door, using the handle located at the left on inside, and let's to it slam.

Unblocking of the lock occurs automatically at operation of the uniform lock.

For opening of a door of a back wring out up A.Podnimite's handle a door.

To close a door, delay the handle located from the inside on the right, then slam a door.

Cowl

For an otpuskaniye of a latch of the lock of a cowl pull on itself the lever located under the dashboard, to the left of a steering column (model with a left foreign steering), then bypass the car in front and wring out up the handle A being under a side of a cowl in its central part, then lift a cover of a cowl and prop up it a special emphasis.

Car filling by fuel

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For unlocking/locking of a door of the hatch of a jellied mouth of a fuel tank, insert into its lock a key and turn it on a turn quarter. At the corresponding complete set the door of the hatch can be unlocked/is locked also by means of the DU panel.

2. To open the unlocked door of the hatch of a jellied mouth, press on its first line.

3. For the period of filling the cover removed from a mouth can be fixed in a special arm from the interior of a hatch door.


For filling of the models equipped with the catalytic converter use only unleaded gasoline!

The Citroёn company tries to achieve from the engines established on the cars, not only maximum efficiency of return and economy of fuel consumption, but also durability, convenience in operation and minimization of harmful effects on environment.

These transferred parameters directly depend on quality of used fuel. Application of fuel of the corresponding type allows to achieve the best dynamic characteristics of the car. Originators of the real Management recommend to use for filling of petrol models fuel with octane number not below AI 98. The volume of a fuel tank makes 65 l.

Catalytic converter

The catalytic converter is among in the highest measure sensitive to external and internal influences of the equipment. Try to adhere given below recommendations at operation of the models equipped with the catalytic converter!

- Use for filling of the petrol models equipped with the catalytic converter only unleaded fuel. Lead present at etilirovanny fuel destroys the catalyst and can cause other serious damages.

- Do not add in fuel any additives which use is not approved by the Citroёn company.

- Violation of serviceability of functioning of the engine can lead to an exit of the catalytic converter out of operation, therefore:
   a) Observe periodicity of technical inspections;
   b) At emergence of difficulties with start of the cold engine, address for consultation to specialists of car-care center;
   c) At violation of stability of turns of the engine reduce frequency of its rotation and at the first possibility address to specialists of car-care center;
   d) Do not make engine start by towage or car pushing: hit in the catalytic converter of not burned down fuel can lead to a device exit out of operation as a result of its overheat at fuel ignition after engine start;
   e) For the same reason do not continue car operation at emergence of admissions of ignition;
   f) Switching off of ignition make only after turns of the engine will be dumped;
   g) Avoid long parking with working engine;
   h) Do not carry out a car parking on the platforms covered with easily flammable materials (lawns with a dry grass or fallen leaves, etc.).

Forward seats

Adjustment of provision of the forward seats equipped with the electric drive

Adjustment of height of provision of a first line of a pillow of a seat is made at a way поднимания / lowerings of the left end of the handle of management (1) to correct height of provision of back edge of a pillow displace in the corresponding direction the right end of the handle (see an illustration). Handle (1) transfer to the right-to the left carries out shift of assembly of a seat in the longitudinal direction (see in the same place).

Adjustment of an inclination of a back of a seat is carried out by turn in the relevant party of the handle (2) (see in the same place).

The handle (3) (see in the same place) is used for adjustment of ergonomic parameters of a back of a seat taking into account specific features of a structure of a body of the person sitting in it. Shift in the corresponding direction of the top end of the handle carries out correction of an emphasis of scapular department of a back of the sitting. The bottom end of the handle is used for control of a lumbar emphasis of a back.

On outer side of a driver's seat also keyboard switches of adjustment of the general inclination of assembly of a chair (see an illustration below) are provided. Adjustment of height of provision of a first line of a seat is carried out by means of a key (And), back - a key (In).

Do not make adjustment of provision of seats during movement!

Heating of seats

At the corresponding complete set of the car possibility of heating of forward seats in an individual order is provided. The control panel with two roller regulators is located heating of seats on the central console (see in the same place).

The zero provision of a roller regulator corresponds to the switched-off condition of a heater of a seat. At transfer of a regulator to situation (1) easy heating joins, situation (2) corresponds to average intensity of heating and, at last, transfer of a regulator to situation (3) carries out inclusion of heating of the corresponding seat on full capacity.

The temperature of heating of seats is regulated automatically.

Manual adjustment of provision of forward seats

The order of manual adjustment of a driver's seat is presented on an illustration.

Adjustment of a passenger seat is carried out in a similar manner, with that difference that the lever of adjustment of height of provision of a first line of a passenger seat is located ahead under a chair pillow, from its outer side.

The order of adjustment of provision of a seat is stated in the previous paragraphs.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Adjust the provision of a seat so that there was a possibility of free squeezing against the stop coupling pedals. During movement the right foot of the driver should be on a gas pedal, and left - on a foot emphasis the coupling pedal is more left. The hip and a back should be supported by a seat.

2. Adjust an inclination of a back of a seat so that it conveniently supported a back on all its surface. Remember that efficiency of functioning of seat belts decreases with increase in an inclination of a back.

3. The greatest efficiency of functioning of a head restraint is reached, when its top is located on the minimum removal from the top of the sitting.

4. The description of procedure of adjustment of situation the helmsman of a column is provided in the section operation Receptions, see subsection Adjustment of provision of a steering column.

5. During movement of a hand of the driver, holding a steering wheel in provisions on 9 and at 3 o'clock, should be slightly bent. At such position of hands the driver keeps possibility of the review of all control devices.

Safety cushions

General information and functioning principle

Safety cushions are intended for additional protection of the driver and the forward passenger at a head-on collision of the car (and at the corresponding complete set also at lateral blows or a vehicle perevorachivaniye).

At excess by a face-to-face overload of a certain value the pillow instantly (for fractions of a second) fills space between the driver and a steering wheel, or between the passenger and the dashboard, limiting their longitudinal moving and reducing thereby risk of receiving the most dangerous injuries of the head and a breast. Lateral safety cushions (if those are provided) fill space between the driver/passenger and the corresponding door of the car at lateral blow from this board.

The design of forward safety cushions provided protection them from operation at insignificant face-to-face overloads, blows behind, or sideways.

At a strong head-on collision when the overload exceeds some put in memory of system value, there is an operation of a gas generator and a pillow is instantly filled with products developed by it, stopping movings of a body of the driver / the forward passenger in the longitudinal direction, then almost at once is blown off, releasing the driver review sector. At contact with a face of the person the fabric of a pillow can leave on graze skin.

Pillows are among disposable adaptations and for a reuse are not intended. After a gas vypuskaniye from a pillow its operation at repeated blow during the same incident becomes impossible.

The driver's safety cushion is built in in the central part of a steering wheel. The module of a passenger pillow it is placed the dashboard opposite to the right seat. Operation of both forward safety cushions occurs at the same time. Modules of lateral safety cushions (at the corresponding complete set) are built in in backs of forward seats from their outer side, are equipped with individual sensors of the directed overloads and work only at lateral blows (everyone from the corresponding board of the car) (see in the same place).

In an instrument guard the control lamp of forward safety cushions is built in, which should quickly (approximately for 6 seconds) to light up at each inclusion of ignition. After the mentioned 6 seconds the lamp should go out. At emergence in system of safety cushions of malfunctions the control lamp at first blinks within 5 minutes, then continues to burn continuously. In default operations of a control lamp at inclusion of ignition address for consultations to specialists of car-care center.

If the car is equipped with lateral safety cushions, in an instrument guard one more control lamp functioning also in a manner stated above is added.

Precautionary measures which should be observed on the models equipped with forward safety cushions:

- Remember that safety cushions are not panacea from any incidents. Do not forget to be fastened by seat belts.
- Do not paste to the central part of a steering wheel any extraneous subjects in order to avoid receiving wounds of the person at pillow emission.
- Between a body of the passenger and a safety cushion there should be no extraneous subjects.
- Do not hold a wheel for spokes or for the central part.
- Do not leave on the forward panel of subjects which could provoke operation of a pillow or wound the passenger at her emission.
- Watch that the forward passenger during movement did not put a foot on the dashboard.
- Remember that children are more younger than 10 years should to be on a back seat.
- Never establish a children's seat on a place of the forward passenger if the car is equipped with a safety cushion of the passenger.

Precautionary measures which should be observed on the models equipped with lateral safety cushions:

- Do not forget to be fastened by seat belts.
- Do not paste and do not fasten to backs of forward seats any extraneous subjects, is it is fraught with injuries of a thorax or a hand at pillow operation.
- Between a body of the passenger and a safety cushion there should be no extraneous subjects.
- Do not put on seats covers since they disturb the correct emission of a safety cushion.
- The driver and the passenger should get used to accept vertical situation in a chair and to try not to lean against the door panel.

Operation of safety cushions is accompanied by emergence of an easy harmless smoke and the noise, caused by explosion of the pyrotechnic boss! Besides, the blow can become the emergence reason in salon of the dust representing danger to people, suffering diseases of the top respiratory ways. Leave the car right after collision, having convinced that are able to do it, without being endangered. It was not possible if to get out, open windows or doors, having provided access of fresh air.

Even at observance of all precautionary measures the risk of injury of a thorax or a hand is not excluded by a lateral safety cushion.


Safety cushions are among disposable devices and at operation fail is irreversible. Installation of replaceable modules should be made by specialists of car-care center.

Seat belts

Natyazhiteli and blokirator effort belts/limiters

With Natyazhiteli at operation during blow provide a dense clip of a body of the fastened driver/passenger to a seat back that in an essential measure increases efficiency of action of a seat belt.

The control lamp on an instrument guard signals about need of a pristegivaniye of a driver's seat belt before a start of motion (at the included ignition).

Pyrotechnic devices of belts and safety cushions are disposable and are calculated on 10-year service life (from the date of car release). After single operation the module натяжителя / pillows is subject to replacement which should be made only by strengths of specialists of car-care center.

With a view of safety any service of systems of additional safety to be made only by experts. Forward seats of the car are equipped with being braided seat belts with individual inertial returnable devices.

The design of the top anchor knot allows to regulate height of fastening of humeral section of the last. The bottom anchor knot and an anchor of a stalk of the lock fasten permanently.

Lateral seat belts of back seats are also equipped with inertial returnable devices and regulated on height of situation in the top anchor knots. The one-section (lumbar) central seat belt of a back seat is not equipped with the returnable device and on a design is static.

All passengers and the driver are obliged to fasten seat belts. Maximum efficiency of protection can achieve only under condition of correctness of laying of a belt:

1. The belt should put on so that its humeral section diagonalno passed through a thorax and a shoulder of the driver/passenger. At all do not lay a belt through a neck and do not pass it an armpit.

2. Take a belt for a buckle and smoothly pull it through itself. Track, that the tape of a belt did not appear is overwound.

3. Insert a buckle into fixing lock and press, that it was not latched.

4. The lumbar section of a belt should pass as it is possible below and to cover the top part of hips of the sitting densely. That the body did not slip under a belt during blow, it is necessary not to allow a strong otkidyvaniye of a back of a seat during movement.

Do not make adjustment height of fastening of a seat belt during movement, watch, that under a belt the firm and sharp subjects being in pockets did not get. Do not use the same belt more than for one person. Do not hold the child on a lap.

Regularly check a condition and purity of tapes of belts. Periodically inspect a condition of belts with involvement of specialists of car-care center.

Means of children's safety

It is necessary to remember that children on a constitution are not the reduced copy of adults: till 7-8 years weight ratios of parts of a body strongly differ from characteristic for adult parameters. At strong breakthrough during collision the considerable relative mass of the head and comparative weakness of muscles can cause serious injuries of a backbone.

Only since age of 10 years or on reaching growth of 1.35 m transportation of children without application of special means with use of only one seat belts is allowed.

In many countries there is a classification of security aids for transportation of the child in the car according to its weight.

The vast majority of experts recommend the following scheme of use of special adaptations of children's safety:
   a) The cradle is suitable for transportation of babies with a network which should fasten on a back seat across a pillow and allows to soften force both front, and back blow;
   b) In transit the child from several months to 4 years use of a special seat cockleshell which, whenever possible, is also best of all to have on a back seat of the car is recommended;
   c) For children from 4 to 7/8 years the closed chair established by the person forward, equipped with a buckle, allowing to use a car seat belt is offered;
   d) For children till 10 years the seats supplied with a buckle for fastening of a seat belt are provided.

Installation of a children's seat on forward chairs of the car equipped with a safety cushion of the passenger is not allowed at all! Do not try to adjust ergonomics of a regular automobile seat to a constitution of the child at the expense of a podkladyvaniye of divanny or inflatable pillows! Use of only such means which are specially developed for application in motor transport is allowed.

The law allows to transport children on forward seats only under condition of implementation of the following requirements:
   a) The design of a children's seat should provide possibility of installation with his back forward. The car should not be thus equipped with a passenger pillow (ами) safety;
   b) When the back seat is combined and installation possibility on it a children's seat is absent (a desperate situation);
   c) When the number of transported children exceeds containing possibilities of a back seat.

1. Before moving a seat, in order to avoid damage or a jamming of seat belts, accurately clean them in pockets specially provided for this purpose from both parties of a seat. Fix buckles of belts in locks.

2. Raise a seat pillow, push it forward, at the same time lifting up back edge.

At return of a pillow to a starting position track, that seat belts did not appear are jammed.

3. For lowering of a back of a back seat, first of all, to lift a pillow and to remove head restraints.

4. Press the button built in in a back located on a back and combine a back forward

5. The back of a separate design can develop in parts.

6. After back installation into place make sure of reliability of its fixing.

Removal and installation

1. Disconnect cords the shelf with a door of a back of the car. Push the shelf in forward, at the same time lifting its both lobbies of a corner.

2. In case of need removed shelf can be laid on a floor of a luggage compartment.

3. At installation of the shelf on a place fill its first line in grooves in the top part of a back of a back seat, then fix the shelf, having pressed its corners.

4. In order that the shelf did not disturb a free access in a luggage compartment, its back corners are fastened to a door of a back of the car special cords which at installation should be fixed in points (And) and (In).

5. Remember that the back shelf is not intended for transportation of heavy subjects, and also subjects which can represent danger to passengers, flying from the shelf at sharp braking.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Raise a seat pillow, shift it forward and overturn in vertical situation, having lifted up back edge.

2. Having lifted a pillow, remove back head restraints, press the button from above on a back and combine the last forward. The back of a separate design can develop in parts.

3. The removed head restraints fill in openings specially provided for this purpose (And) on the back party of the combined pillow.

4. At return of a seat to regular situation track, that did not appear seat belts are jammed. Track reliability of fixing of a back: the red indicator on the button (In) should not be visible.

Dismantle of a monoblock back of a back seat

The back is equipped with the jacks, serving not to be wounded and to damage the fixing bolts screwed in a floor.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Combine a back forward, having transferred it to horizontal situation, then pass a core in diameter of 7 mm in openings of sharnirny connections of a back. Having lifted a rug, give 4 nuts and remove a back.
2. Installation is made upside-down.

Protective grid of a luggage compartment (Versatile person)

The grid provides protection of salon against falling in it badly fixed luggage.

Two regular provisions of a grid (1-c) and are provided (2-in). The top corners of a grid fasten to special ceiling eyes (1) or (2), bottom are fixed by means of fixed on a floor of the car of adjustable belts in points (C) or (In).

If the car is used for transportation of a large number of luggage, or for transportation of lengthy cargo, the back seat develops and the grid is established in forward regular situation (1-c). If transported cargo holds in standard dimensions of a luggage compartment, need for folding of a seat is absent and a stack is established in back situation (2-in).

The luggage compartment on models with the Versatile person type body from above is closed by the back shelf (2) and a being braided shtorka (1). These adaptations can be used in various combinations: the shtorka can be both is developed, and curtailed, the back shelf at will can be dismantled.

Twisting of a shtorka occurs automatically - enough only slightly to raise its edge for a loop (And), and to hold it in the course of twisting.

For dismantle of the back shelf slightly raise its back edge and pull it on itself. Installation is made upside-down.

In lateral walls of a luggage compartment two ware boxes supplied by covers (3) are provided. For opening of a cover of a ware box turn the handle of management 1/4 turns.

The left box is intended for storage of small subjects, in right the ballonny key usually keeps within.

Adaptations for luggage fastening

For cargo fixing in a luggage compartment are provided 4 fixing eyes located in points (And) and (In). Eyes fasten to the floor panel. Two additional eyes (C) are located in salon of the car and serve for fastening of large-sized cargo, or are used in transit large volume of luggage.

Besides fixing eyes in the left forward part of a luggage compartment the belt (3) is provided. The belt is intended for keeping of the flat subjects driven into the corner.

Speedometer

The Strelochny indicator of a speedometer (1) allows the driver to supervise speed of movement of the car.

Tachometer

Measuring instruments

In hot weather of the shooter of a measuring instrument of temperature of impellent oil (5) can come nearer to a red mark in a scale, however which case do not allow calling it for a mark 150°С if such situation happens, it is necessary to dump immediately engine turns, in case of need stop movement, muffle the engine and check oil level.

At moderate ambient temperature the measuring instrument of temperature of cooling liquid (6) can fix temperature to 100°С. At hot weather the display arrow can come nearer to a red mark in a measuring instrument scale. The control lamp at which inclusion it is necessary to stop immediately movement is built in the dial of a measuring instrument, to muffle the engine and let's to it cool down. Remember that the fan of system of cooling can continue to work even at the switched-off ignition. The overheat of the engine can be caused by the various reasons therefore at the first possibility consult with specialists of car-care center.

The measuring instrument of fuel consumption (7) allows the driver to supervise a stock of fuel available in a fuel tank. If at uniform movement on a smooth horizontal surface on an equal surface the control lamp built in a measuring instrument starts to blink, therefore, in a tank there were about 8 l of fuel.

The indicator of complete run built in a speedometer and graphics of the current distance in kilometers flowing the service/counter.

At the switched-off ignition the indicator does not function.

The first some seconds after inclusion of ignition of the display of the indicator highlight the run, remained to the car before the next servicing. When this parameter reaches value in 500 km, the indicator starts to blink.

In some seconds after ignition inclusion the indicator is switched to indications of the first counter of the current distance in kilometers which is highlighted in the top half of the screen of the display with a mark in the form of “a” letter, in the bottom half complete run of the car is thus highlighted.

In short pressing the button located in the left bottom corner of the indicator it is possible to switch the top half of the display to highlighting of the second counter of the current distance in kilometers with a mark in the form of “b” letter.

In the pressed condition the counter is nulled by long keeping of the button.

Control lamps of indexes of turns


Scheme of an arrangement and designation of control lamps of a combination of devices

The double indicator (1) allows the driver to supervise serviceability of functioning of indexes of turns (left and right), and also the alarm system (both arrows start to blink at the same time).

Control lamps of the left block of a combination of devices

The control lamp (7) informs the driver on approach by the end of a stock of liquid of washing of glasses/lenses of head headlights (the full capacity of the tank makes 6 l).

(See an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement and designation of control lamps of a combination of devices ) occupies a position (3) a control lamp of wear of forward brake shoes. If the lamp starts to join when squeezing a pedal of a foot brake, check a condition of blocks, in case of need make their replacement.

The control lamp of ABS (4) should light up quickly at ignition inclusion, then die away, about 2 seconds later. If the lamp continues to burn, or works during movement, therefore, in ABS system there are malfunctions and the car it is necessary to drive away for diagnostics on car repair shop.

The control lamp of a charge of the accumulator (5) (see in the same place) at the working engine should be put out, otherwise address for the help to specialists of the next car repair shop.

The control lamp of level of impellent oil (6) lights up at ignition key turn in situation M before engine start, dies away in 2-3 seconds. If the lamp blinks within 15 seconds, check oil level.

Control lamp of serviceability of functioning of the engine (7), starting to blink, or lighting up during movement, signals the driver about identification by system of self-diagnostics of malfunctions in systems of injection of fuel and ignition. The car thus should be driven away on car repair shop.

Control lamp of pressure and level of hydraulic liquid (8) lights up at inclusion of ignition and should die away in some seconds after engine start. At lamp operation during movement it is necessary to stop the car and to address in the next car repair shop.

The position (9) is occupied by a control lamp of an immediate stop of STOP at which operation movement it is necessary to stop and address immediately in the next car repair shop.

At operation in the course of operation of the engine of a control lamp of pressure of engine oil (10) it is necessary to stop movement and to check oil level. If the lamp continues to burn, in spite of the fact that oil level in norm, address in the next car-care center.

Control lamps of the top right block of a combination of devices

On a position (11) there is a control lamp of a forward pillow (ек) safety (see above).

The position (12) at the corresponding complete set is occupied by a control lamp of lateral safety cushions (see above).

The control lamp (13) lights up at inclusion of heating of back glass.

The lamp (14) (diesel models) allows the driver to supervise functioning of system of preheat.

Burning of a control lamp (15) testifies that the parking brake is not released.

The control lamp (17) confirms inclusion of forward fog lights.

The control lamps which have been built in the dial of a tachometer

Located in an average part of an instrument guard the indicator (18) allows to supervise density of closing of doors. Heating of back glass

Inclusion of heating of back glass

Inclusion of a heater of back glass is carried out by a nazhimaniye the face push-button switch of the right podrulevy switch. At the corresponding complete set also heating of external rear-view mirrors at the same time joins. The system functions only at the included ignition.

The control lamp of inclusion of heating is built in in the top right block of indicators of a combination of devices (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement and designation of control lamps of a combination of devices ). The repeated pressing not the button disconnects a heater. In addition the timer which is carrying out automatic shutdown of system after 12 minutes in order to avoid a podsadka of the storage battery is switched on in a chain of a heater.

Alarm and lighting devices

Alarm system

At turning on of the alarm system all four indexes of turns and their lateral repeaters, and also the control lamp which has been built in in the button of the switch start to blink at the same time.

The alarm system functions irrespective of, ignition is included or switched off, and should be used only in the situations provided by traffic regulations.


Remember that if the car moves with the switched-on alarm system, indexes of turns will not function!

Adjustment of intensity of illumination of devices

Adjustment of intensity of illumination of devices is carried out by means of established from below on the dashboard, near the lever of adjustment of provision of a steering column, a potentiometer.

Horn

Inclusion of a sound signal is carried out by pressing built in in the central part of a steering wheel of the button of a horn.

Alarm system driving beam

To give a signal a driving beam to drivers moving towards or ahead of going vehicles, short movements pull on itself the lever of the left podrulevy switch. Remember that giving of a light signal is possible only at the included ignition.

Indexes of turns

Inclusion of indexes of turns is carried out by means of the lever of the right podrulevy switch. For inclusion of indexes of the right turn lift the switch lever up, left, respectively, lower it down.
Shutdown of indexes of turn occurs automatically upon return of a steering wheel in rectilinear situation, or compulsorily, return of the lever to average situation.

Running fires

Management of functioning of running fires is carried out by means of the handle (And), planted for the end of the lever of the left podrulevy switch. The handle has three regular situation. In the bottom situation all fires are extinguished. At handle turn the second situation joins marker lights. Position of the handle following one after another allows to include near/distant (push the switch lever forward) light of head headlights.

Alarm buzzer “Extinguish fires”

The buzzer works when opening one of car doors at the switched-off ignition, reminding the driver of need of switching off of external lighting. When closing ignition door/inclusion the buzzer is disconnected.

Antifog lighting

Inclusion entering into a standard complete set of the car of back antifog lamps is carried out by means of the ring switch on the handle of the lever of the left podrulevy switch (In). The switch has two regular situation: “lamps are switched off” (bottom) and “lamps are included” (top). In the right bottom block of indicators of a combination of devices the corresponding control lamp (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement and designation of control lamps of a combination of devices ) lights up.


Inclusion of back antifog lamps possibly only complete with marker lights, a passing or driving beam of head headlights.


If also forward fog lights, management enter into a complete set of the car them is made by means of the same ring switch (C) on the handle of the left podrulevy switch in this case having three regular situation: “antifog lighting is extinguished” (the bottom situation), “are included back antifog lamps” (average situation) and “are included all antifog lighting devices” (the top situation).

The control lamp of forward fog lights is built in the top right block of indicators of a combination of devices (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement and designation of control lamps of a combination of devices ).

Inclusion of antifog lighting is possible only complete with marker lights, a passing or driving beam of head headlights.

Electric drive of window regulators

The switches which have been built in in an armrest of a driver's door, allow to operate the electric drive of window regulators of both forward doors.

The short pressing a switch key glass of the corresponding door can be lowered a little/is raised. At once on a key otpuskaniya movement of glass stops. Keeping of the button pressed allows to make complete opening/closing of a window.

The special safety sensor which is stopping movement of glass and switching on it reverse motion at emergence of resistance is switched on in a chain of the electric drive of window regulators. Such precautionary measure allows to avoid traumas at a jamming glass of extremities or clothes subjects. At a battery detachment the sensor is disconnected and then should be entered back into a working condition. For activation of the Antizazhim mode lower completely glass by means of the button of the corresponding keyboard switch, then again lift it some centimeters. A repeated nazhimaniye on a key achieve complete closing of a window. Now the demanded mode will be included. If during lifting glass starts to fall, press a key short movements. During carrying out this operation the mode of an anti-clip does not operate.

Management of electric drive functioning window regulators of back doors is carried out by means of the switches established on the central console, and also by means of both back doors of individual switches built in in armrests (see inserts on an illustration).

With a view of additional safety in the car dashboard, to the left of a steering column the blocking push-button switch allowing the driver to neutralize teams, managements submitted from individual switches of functioning of the electric drive of window regulators of back doors is built in. Leaving the car, do not forget to take a key from the ignition lock.

Rear-view mirrors

Internal rear-view mirror

Rychazhok located from bottom edge of assembly of a mirror, allows the driver to transfer a mirror to night situation and to return it back in the day. In day situation (1) rychazhok is not visible; in night (2) - it is visible.

The arm of a mirror is equipped with two hinges, allowing to regulate height of provision of assembly.

External rear-view mirrors

The extreme part of a rear-view mirror of a driver's door of the car (designated by a black dotted line) has the asferichesky form expanding a field of the lateral review.
Correction of provision of an external mirror of a driver's door is carried out manually by means of the special adjusting handle.


The subjects which are reflecting in an asferichesky part of a mirror, are in reality closer, than it seems, - this fact should be considered at distance definition to moving behind vehicles.


Correction of an electrodriving mirror of a passenger door can be carried out by means of the handle located on the dashboard (to the left of a steering column). On some models both door rear-view mirrors are equipped with the electric drive which switch of management is built in in facing of the internal handle of a driver's door.

The choice of a mirror subject to adjustment is carried out by means of a key (1), correction of provision of assembly is made by means of a turbo switch (2).

Heating of rear-view mirrors (if that is provided) joins at the same time with heating of back glass.

On some models automatic correction of provision of a rear-view mirror of a passenger door at car movement by a backing is provided. Control of provision of such mirror should be made twice: in a usual mode and, separately, at the included reverse gear.

Adjustment of provision of a steering column

On all models considered in the real Management possibility of correction of provision of a steering wheel is provided.

1. First of all, adjust the provision of a driver's seat (see above).

2. Unblock a steering column, having moved forward the lever located under it.

3. Adjust the provision of a steering wheel, then fix a column, having pulled the lever on itself against the stop.
