Initial start of the engine after completion of its major maintenance

Having established the engine on the car, check levels of impellent oil and cooling liquid. Once again make sure of correctness of connection of all hoses, wires and other lines of communication. Clean from an impellent compartment all tools, rags and other extraneous subjects.

Petrol models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove spark plugs and disconnect electroconducting from ECU system of injection of fuel (see. A power supply system - petrol models).
2. Turn the engine a starter until the control lamp of pressure of oil in an instrument guard will go out. Establish to the place of a candle and connect conducting to injection ECU system.

Diesel models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect electroconducting from the locking electromagnetic valve on TNVD (see. A power supply system - diesel models) also start to turn the engine a starter, without leaving time for warming up of candles of an incandescence. Wait shutdowns of a control lamp of pressure of oil, then connect electroconducting to the locking valve.
2. Fill a power supply system (see. A power supply system - diesel models).
3. Completely squeeze out a gas pedal, turn the ignition key in the situation "M" and wait shutdowns of a control lamp of preheat.

All models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start the engine in the usual way (start can take away slightly more time, than usually as there should be a filling of a path of a power supply system).
2. Having left the engine working at single turns, check it on existence of signs of leakages of cooling liquid, oil and fuel. It is not necessary to panic at emergence of a smell of burning and emergence of a smoke is there is a burning out of the greasings used at assembly.
3. If everything is all right, wait warming up of the top hose of a radiator, then muffle the engine.
4. Check installations of a corner of an advancing of ignition (petrol models) / correctness of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye (diesel models) and idling turns, then muffle the engine.
5. Let's to the engine cool down within several minutes, then make checks of levels of oil and cooling liquid (address to Head Routine maintenance). In case of need make the corresponding adjustments.
6. If the tightening of bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders was made according to the instructions provided in appropriate section, need for pulling of fixture is absent.
7. If replacement of pistons, piston rings or bearings of a cranked shaft was made, it is necessary to make an engine running in as though about was new. I.e. throughout the first 800 km (500 miles) run should be avoided complete opening of a butterfly valve, to try not to move nakaty and with small turns of the engine. It is recommended to replace also upon termination of a running in impellent oil and the oil filter.
